Waiting Children
At Northeast Ohio Adoption Services we specialize in finding homes for school-age children and/or children with special needs. These are some of the children currently available through NOAS. Children who are "placed" are currently in adoptive homes, but are not yet legalized.
Antwan
Age: 16
He's a sociable high school freshman, who favors soccer because he's fast on his feet. Antwan likes social studies and science in school, plays the guitar, and likes dogs.
Christopher
Age: 11
Chris is an active fifth grader in special ed classes. Sports and Starwars stuff make him smile. Fast on his feet in football and basketball, he likes animals and outdoor fun.
Dariyon
Age: 8
This friendly second grader wants to be a Ninja Warrior good guy. He hopes for a nice adoptive family who doesn’t yell. Thumbs up for parks, garage sales, cake and ice cream.
De'Andre
Age: 12
He is a friendly, bright sixth grade boy who likes pets and all sports or ball games. De'Andre likes to swim or play outdoors, and enjoys learning something new at school.

De'Andre (11), Tony (7), & Umar (14)
Umar (pronounced Ooo-mar), De'Andre and Tony are three brothers who agree on liking sports, enjoying music, and being together. Sometimes they get along without a care, and sometimes their birth order, or their place in the brotherly scheme of things, shows. Umar is a Browns fan, and De'Andre and Tony root for the Steelers. Umar favors Michael Jackson music, De'Andre strums a guitar and little Tony loves to steal the stage with crazy dancing moves. When it is all said and done, though, people who know the boys the best say that being reunited in the same group facility has proved to be a very good thing.
